In this flash tutorial you will see how to apply a stylish soft easing effect to a photo of Cameron Dias. This effect is great for commercials ad banners or just a simple photo showcase.
First we need to import the image to stage and resize our stage to fit the image as I did below.
Now you need to right click your image and convert it to a movie clip, you dont need any specific instance name just convert it.
Go to the properties panel and go to filters add a blur effect as shown below.
Now we want to place our image on top of the stage so it rolls down as you can see in the example.
Go to the timeline and right click at frame 20, insert a new key frame, then drag the movie clip back in place on stage, right click between frame 1 and 20 on the timeline and create a motion tween.
That was the first step of 3, now we want the photo to be sharp, so right click at frame 40 and insert a new key frame, click the movie clip and go to the panel for filters and bring down the blur to 0 again.
Right click between frame 20 and 40 and create a motion tween.
The last step is real easy, just right click at frame 55 and insert a new key frame, this will make the Cameron Dias photo stay sharp from frame 40 to 55 then it will repeat it self.
